Jacobsen Orr is always looking for professionals to join our growing law office. Whether you are an attorney, support staff, or an administrative professional, we want to hear from you!  Interested professionals should direct questions or their resume and cover letter to our Firm Administrator, Dawn Becker, at

We accept applications for attorney positions on a rolling basis, regardless of whether you are a law student, recent graduate or an experienced lawyer. We pride ourselves on fostering an environment with balance between work, life and involvement in the communities we call home.

Associate attorneys have a supervising partner assigned to mentor and assist them in growing their own practice and developing their skills as an attorney. Even so, we regularly collaborate and work as a team, so there are ample opportunities to learn more about various practice areas, how to manage cases and how to grow as an attorney.

Experienced attorneys are offered opportunities to broaden or grow their practice areas, build their client base and work in a collaborative atmosphere.  We recognize that excellent client service, challenging work and personal satisfaction are all important.

Jacobsen Orr’s law clerks are an integral component of our recruiting process. We hire rising 2L and 3L law students to assist attorneys on their cases. Our law clerks have the opportunity to attend court proceedings, client meetings, mediations, depositions and conduct legal research. Senior-certified law students may also be offered chances to appear in court. Law clerks are given many opportunities to grow their knowledge and explore their interests in various areas of the law, all while earning a competitive wage. We encourage our law clerks to seek out projects from attorneys who practice in areas they want to explore. We have an open-door policy and socialize at events throughout the summer, so our law clerks get to know what it is like to practice at our firm.  Finally, we provide formal and informal feedback throughout the summer to help our law clerks continue to grow as professionals.

As a full-service law firm, our staff members are vital team members who ensure that our office runs smoothly and efficiently to meet our clients’ needs in a wide array of practice areas. Support staff work closely with attorneys to manage cases, communicate with clients and other third parties, calendar deadlines and generally assist in the progression of legal matters to conclusion. Our staff may be responsible for investigating facts and drafting documents such as pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and discovery requests, as well as transactional documents such as contracts, wills, trusts, and business formation documents. Staff within our firm work in a wide array of legal practice areas such as civil litigation, family law, general business, probate and estate planning. We seek staff who are team oriented and willing to fill many roles. Applicants should have a willingness to learn with each new case and possess excellent time management, organizational and communication skills. Click here to see current job listing on Indeed.
