(Kearney, NE; February, 2015) – Jacobsen, Orr, Lindstrom & Holbrook, P.C., L.L.O., of Kearney, a provider of comprehensive and professional legal services, is pleased to announce that Nicole M. Mailahn and Justin R. Herrmann have become shareholders of the law firm.

Nicole represents clients in several different areas of law, but practices primarily in the areas of family law, guardianships/conservatorships, criminal defense, personal injury litigation and workers’ compensation, litigating on behalf of both employees and employers. In addition to her busy practice, Nicole has served on several volunteer boards. She served in the past on the Buffalo County Domestic Violence Coalition Board and the S.A.F.E. Center Board and is currently serving on the Advisory Board for Kearney Park and Recreation, on the Board of Directors for the Kearney/Buffalo County CASA program and as the Secretary for the Kearney Girls Competitive Softball Association. She is also a graduate of the Leadership Kearney Class #16 and the Nebraska State Bar Leadership Academy in 2008-2009.  

Justin, originally from Kearney, joined the firm in 2005.  His practice is focused on representing clients primarily in the areas of criminal defense, employment law, business, real estate, wills and trusts, estate planning and probate. However, he also has experience representing clients in a wide variety of civil litigation matters, including real estate disputes, contract disputes, probate litigation, employment litigation, personal injury claims, wrongful death claims and more.  Justin is a member of the Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professionals Network, is a Board Member and Past-President of Residential Assistance to Families in Transition (RAFT), has served as the Regional Coordinator for the Nebraska School Mock Trial Project since 2007 and is a graduate of Leadership Kearney Class #19.
