Jacobsen Orr Attorneys To Present at Gateway Farm Expo

Jacobsen Orr Attorneys To Present at Gateway Farm Expo

Jacobsen Orr Attorneys to Appear at Gateway Farm Expo November 20-21 and to Present on Farm and Ranch Succession and Estate Planning on November 20 at 1:30 p.m.

In recognition of Jacobsen Orr’s experience and expertise in handling farm and ranch succession and estate planning matters, senior partner Dan Lindstrom and senior associate Allison Seiler have been asked by the Gateway organizers to present on estate and succession planning for farm and ranch families.  Both Lindstrom and Seiler have worked on many planning projects for our clients and they, along with other firm attorneys, have had extensive experience in litigation between family members involving estate and succession plans.

The firm has written for and spoken to groups on these topics in the past, most recently focusing on  farm estate planning opportunities, the increase in estate litigation, and avoiding estate litigation.  In addition, our presenters expect to answer questions about the importance and process of communicating plans clearly, honestly, thoughtfully, and with transparency, even when dividing assets unequally among heirs, to avoid misunderstandings and disputes. Jacobsen Orr will also maintain a booth at the Gateway Farm Expo on November 20 and 21 to field your questions and share more information about our agricultural and related practice areas. We look forward to seeing you at Gateway!
